I started taping weddings while working for another company back in 1995. Back then, SVHS and Hi-8 were the videographers weapons of choice. We've come a long way from those SVHS cameras, which were rather bulky. After the wedding, it was off to do the editing using two VCR's, which took lots of time.

As camera technology advanced, and digital became the norm, prices for wedding videography remained outrageously expensive. I made a small investmet in equipment, I decided to offer a reasonable video package for weddings. I had the experience, knew the business, and the advancements in digital video and software helped.

The great thing about digital cameras is that they bring the quality to everybody without the expense. So, why would someone pay for "professional, broadcast quality" stuff, when the digital equipment and editing is faster and less expensive...and better than 10 years ago? If you agree, then you are what I had in mind when I started my business.

I work with professional videographers in my "regular" job, and I'll admit, there is a difference in equipment. But remember, they pass on that cost to you, the client. It is simple: I offer a reduced pricing option for those wanting to have a videographer capture their wedding. I don't boast about working for a TV network or using $5,000 cameras. If I did, I would charge more. ; )

There are many happy clients out there who have hired me. I can give references upon request and I stand behind the quality of my work. View the demo, or call me and have a DVD sent to you.
